Volume 2, Issue 6 / June 9, 2026
You may remember the five goals Suzanne outlined in her April 12 Weekend Update — the ones that came out of real conversations between Executive leadership, Project Executives, and Field Executives across every region.
These goals didn’t come from a list of directives. They came from honest conversations about the standards we want Samet to be known for, together. These goals belong to every one of us, whether you’re on a job site, in a regional office, or just wrapping up your first week.
The hope is that they stick and live in the back of your mind every time you make a decision, push a schedule, or invest in someone on your team.
Here are the five —
Diversify + Balance Our Pipeline
Being intentional about where we compete, and who leads those efforts, is how we grow sustainably.
ON TIME, EVERY TIME
Schedule is a promise. When we deliver, it compounds. Reputation is built one kept promise at a time.
90%+ Client Satisfaction
Because we want clients who don’t just hire us again — we want clients who tell others to hire us.
100% Brand Compliance
Every fence wrap, every tidy site entrance is a billboard for who Samet is. Pride in the details signals pride in the work.
PROMOTE-FROM-WITHIN
If the people who start here don't see a future here, we've failed them. Invest in our people. Give them a career here, not just a job here.

When Samet shows up in the news, it’s usually because our people and our projects are doing something worth talking about. This month, four placements across the Triad, Wilmington, and the Triangle reflect what Growth + Scale and People + Opportunity look like in practice — projects that serve communities, and people who are building careers worth writing about.
TRIAD GOODWILL GROUNDBREAKING
A project fifteen years in the making, Samet broke ground on Triad Goodwill’s new regional operations center in Greensboro on Earth Day. A $30M facility that will consolidate operations and expand workforce training in CDL, HVAC, construction, and more for the next 30 years.
GORDON ROAD FIRE STATION GRAND OPENING
Samet delivered a $12.5M fire station in one of New Hanover County’s fastest-growing areas. This facility is built to meet a rising demand and also serves as the administrative headquarters for New Hanover County Fire Rescue.
SAM ROTH / FRONT PAGE, RALEIGH NEWS & OBSERVER
On May 17, Sam Roth landed above the fold in the Sunday edition of the N&O, featured for her work as a project manager on the Veridea development in Apex, NC. The piece captures not just the project, but the kind of leader Sam has become.
MADISON MINGA-PERRY / GREENSBORO NEWS & RECORD
Madison interned with Samet last summer on a residence hall at her own alma mater, N.C. A&T. This spring she graduated and joined Samet full-time. The News & Record shared the story of her path here at Samet, and it’s a textbook example of “Promote from Within” done right.
Once again, our Safety Week at Samet demonstrated what it truly means to be “All In Together”! Your unwavering commitment to Recognize, Respond, and Respect made this year’s celebration an extraordinary showcase of our Safeguarding Families culture. We are grateful to each and every Associate who embraced this opportunity, delivering an incredible experience to the men and women on the frontline.
Don’t forget to keep you eye out for new Claude Corners on SametNet. Most recently, Drew Bardeleben discusses Claude Projects, specifically using the example of subcontractor scope creation and review.
If you have a workflow you’d like to share in a future episode, reach out to Chris Clinard and or someone on the AI OLT.
